Andrra Maloku

Andrra graduated in Construction Engineering with a bachelor's degree from the University for Business and Technology - UBT in Pristina. Subsequently, she obtained a Master's degree in Building and Architectural Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Milan.

She has two years of professional experience at Edifice Ingenierie, based in Prizren/Meru, where her main responsibility was creating technical drawings for construction projects, with a particular focus on residential buildings located in France.

She has been part of the Fincon team since May 2023, specializing in the development of Finite Element Method (FEM) models and the creation of technical drawings for both new construction projects and retrofitting of existing structures. Additionally, she has experience in the microstructural analysis of construction materials.

Julia-Nerantiza Tzortzi (Georgi)

Julia-Nerantzia Tzortzi (Georgi) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Built Environment and Construction Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano. From 1997 to 2000, Julia was the Head of the Environmental Department of the design and construction company EGNATIA ODOS S.A., which built the Egnatia Road, the international road that stretches from the Adriatic Sea to the borders of Turkey, crossing Greece.

Julia collaborated for 15 years as a Forestry Engineer and Landscape Architect with the Minister of Environment, Urban Planning, Energy, and Climate Change of Greece. Between 2000 and 2004, she contributed her expertise to the Athens 2004 Olympic Games as a Project Manager and Head of the Environmental Department. She designed and oversaw the implementation of significant landscape architecture projects (urban parks, greenways, venues) for the Athens 2004 Olympic Games.

Julia-Nerantzia Tzortzi/Georgi is the Vice President of the Landscape Architects Association - PHALA - of Greece and a member of the board of directors of "Le Notre Institute," the Landscape Institute (UK), and the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA), where she works in the IFLA Working Groups: "UIA/IFLA Working Group on Nodes and Paths of Indigenous Ecosystems" and "Landscape Culture".

Angelo Rabuffetti

Civil engineer, specialized in structures, soil mechanics and specialfoundations, he signed a notable series of projects of residential buildings,industrial facilities, bridges, major renovation projects, ports and onshore /underwater works, special underground structures such as plants andmulti-storey car parks in urban environments, seismic vulnerability assessments. CEO Fincon from 2014 to2023, he was director of the design office of a leading company in the specialfoundations sector (ICOS Spa), then technical director of Studio Terrain.

Technical software developer, he has implemented a series of F.E.M. algorithms. applied to problems ofexcavation support and slope stability.

Contract professor of Geotechnics and foundation techniques at the Politecnico diMilano, he authored several engineering manuals on geotechnical design andtexts on finite elements, besides has held refresher courses for engineersapproved by the CNI (National Counsil of Italian Engineers) and the NationalCouncil of Geologists.

Technical consultant of the Court of Milan, he’s active in the loss adjustment& forensic engineering sector, technical verifier for project checkspursuant to the ISO 17020 standard for the independent third-partycertification body DNV-GL (Det Norske Veritas – Germanisher Lloyd).

R.M. Cristina Musacchio

Teaching Assistant at European Environmental and Landscape Politics and Projects within the Master of Landscape Architecture at Politecnico di Milano and at the Master in landscape Architecture at American University of Cyprus, is specialized in environmental sciences, strategic urban and territorial planning. Is involved in the administrative, financial and legal management of European projects, as well as the dissemination, communication and engagement strategies. Alessandro Meneghini

Alessandro Menghini is a Structural Engineer, holding a degree from Politecnico di Milano and a PhD in Civil Engineering. He is a registered member of the Order of Engineers of the Province of Milan. Since 2023, he has been a Partner at Fincon.

Since May 2019, Alessandro has been involved in a collaborative project between Politecnico di Milano and Regione Lombardia, focused on developing guidelines for the retrofitting of existing bridges at a regional level.

Currently, he serves as a researcher at Politecnico di Milano, where he actively supports teaching activities in subjects such as Bridge Theory and Design, Design of Structures, and Design Laboratory. He supervises master's theses and coordinates research projects at national and European levels.

Since 2017, Alessandro has been engaged in structural design and retrofitting work, including site supervision and technical consultancy. His primary areas of expertise include analysis, finite element modeling, and structural monitoring of existing road and railway bridges. He has authored numerous publications in national and international conference proceedings, as well as scientific journals.

Alessio Bacci

Structural engineer, graduate of Politecnico di Milano, and chartered with the Order of Engineers of of Milan. Partner at FINCON since 2020, currently serving as a Board Member with the role of Advisor. Over the years, I have gained experience in projects involving both new construction and the retrofitting of existing structures. My primary focus is on developing FEM models and leading, along with my team, the project development from the initial stages to the executive level.

I am qualified as a Coordinator for safety during the design and execution phases of works in temporary or mobile construction sites (D.Lgs. 81/2008) and as an expert in interventions for Radon gas remediation (D.Lgs. 101/2020). Additionally, I am listed in the Ministry of the Interior's registry of fire safety professionals (D.Lgs. 139/2006).

Since 2020, I have held a teaching assistant contract, conducting lectures and practical exercises in the Design of Structures and Earthquake Resistance Design Criteria courses at Politecnico di Milano.

Carlo A. Castiglioni

Full Professor in the Department of Built Environment and Construction Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano, he obtained his PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Genoa.

Author or co-author of over 250 scientific publications on topics such as the stability of structural elements, fatigue and fracture mechanics, seismic behavior of structures, and structural damage.

Active since 1983 as a designer and consultant in the field of structural engineering. He was a member of the Structural Engineering Commission of UNI. He was the Coordinator of WG 4 (steel structures and steel-concrete composite) of the Steering Committee of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport for the drafting of the Technical Standards for Construction (NTC) and Member of the Working Group "Metallic Shelving".
